According to an official First Information Report (FIR No. 6285/25) filed at the Shahdara Police Station, Lahore, a case has been registered under Section 295-C of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against a Christian pastor identified as Asher Bhatti. The FIR, lodged on 16 September 2025, alleges that the accused committed acts of blasphemy inside a local church situated in Shahdara.
